We will be celebrating Thanksgiving by closing at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday November 23, and closed on November 24. We will be back on Black Friday, the 25th so add us to your list for a visit.

Baby Watch
For those of you who have been to the shop and met Natasha know she is about to deliver. This will be her last week working until the first of the year. She is a week past her due date, but we heard she will be induced on Halloween if baby Tanner doesn't come soon. I'm hoping for a Saturday baby!
We are still waiting anxiously for the arrival of Tanner Marco.

October/November Gatherings
The second Sunday of the month come join Jan Wallace starting at 12:30 to ?? and make cute projects using 2 fat quarters. See below for more details.
Every Monday you can Sew with Larene Smith from the Quilted Button. You pick the project and spend the day with Larene starting at 10:30 a.m. for $30.00 for the whole day. Registration required.
**New** Monday Nite Quilt-ball. Are you a football widow? Are you trying to catch up on projects! Tired of quilting alone? Come join Larene every Monday evening from 5:00 - 9:00 for a fun quilting friendship group. The cost is $5.00 per person. You will get in-store discounts and refreshments. Registration required.
The first, third and sometimes 5th Friday of the month is reserved for our TGIF (Thank Goodness It's Friday!) sew into the night. The classroom is available from 10:30 until the last quilter drops. There is no charge, a teacher is always available, but space is limited. Registration required.
This month the first and third Friday of the month is Sew with Sue, which starts around 5-ish. If you want to come in early, you are welcome to do so. This group sews with Sue Salinger well into the night. There is no charge, but space is limited. Registration is required.
Jan Wallace will be hosting a UFO party night on October 26, beginning at 3:00. Bring your unfinished projects and she will help you get motivated! $30.00 fee. Registration required.
October Classes
Join Sue in making this fun Lil' Twister table runner. This class is offered twice: Sunday, October 30th from noon - 4:00 for $20.00 and again on the 1st of November from 6:00 pm - 8:00 for $10.00. This is a great class for a quick gift!
Carol Logue, a Quilt In A Day certified teacher, will be teaching an Intermediate Sampler from QIAD's Egg Money quilts book on October 29, 2011 from 10:00 - 5:00. $35.00. The quilt is hanging in the shop and looks great!
November Classes
Beginning embroidery (red work, silk ribbon, etc) with Diane Donegan on Wednesday, November 2nd from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Cost $20.00.
Shelly Sanders (fractured bargello jacket) received rave reviews from her students. Her next class is the Bow Tuck bag. This class is offered on November 5th from 10:30 - 4:00 p.m.The class is $20.00

Judy Immel is teaching the beginning quilting class on Tuesday mornings from 10:30 - 12:30 p.m. starting November 8th, and Thursday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. starting November 10th.

You can personalize the panel by embroidering initials on the hearts, a name on the sign and an address on the mailbox using Jacqueline's wonderful hand-dyed flosses and pearl cotton threads. These items are manufactured and distributed by Valdani. Jacqueline's signature art style and stencil techniques combine with a subtle color palette to create this exceptional fabric collection. Come meet new friends at Fat Quarter Sunday Fun with Jan Wallace on the second Sunday each month. Jan will guide you through a variety of fun projects using 2 fat quarters.
